Blending into untouched red-rock country on over 900 acres of the Colorado Plateau, Amangiri and its satellite, Camp Sarika, reflect dual aspects of this ancient desert landscape. Role
We are looking for a dedicated Server to join our team at Amangiri in Canyon Point, Utah. This role reports to the Restaurant Manager and is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service while creating a welcoming dining experience for our guests. You will be the face of our restaurant, ensuring that each guest feels cared for from the moment they arrive until their departure.
Responsibilities
Provide warm and attentive service to all guests throughout their dining experience.
Review menus daily to stay informed of specials and changes.
Guide guests through the food and beverage offerings with in-depth menu and wine knowledge.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
Ensure that dietary restrictions and allergies are communicated clearly and handled correctly.
Maintain clean and well-organised workstations and dining areas at all times.
Set up tables in accordance with host instructions and company standards.
Verify each guests satisfaction throughout their meal and anticipate needs before being asked.
Ensure all products served are accurately reflected on the final bill.
Support service flow by coordinating with other team members, including Server Assistants.
Complete all assigned side duties, opening and closing tasks as per guidelines.
Requirements
Previous experience in a food and beverage environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
A professional, engaging, and guest-focused personality.
Strong multitasking and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and remain composed in fast-paced settings.
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to lift and carry loads up to 45 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros, as well as SevenRooms and Opera, is an advantage.
TIPS and ServSafe certifications required.
Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
