Description
- Safety first! Remember to use PPE, handling/use instruction on chemical labels (MSDS information), and caution signs.
- Break rooms and food service area: All staff members must share the responsibility of keeping all break rooms and break areas clean. This includes sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and maintaining walls, doors, microwaves, food (cooler) storage unit, and locker area. No one staff member is responsible for all break room floors. It is expected of all staff members to share the responsibility of sweeping and moping break room areas. This includes the 1st break room, 2nd break room, by lockers and Pepi Foods, and outside picnic areas.
- Bathrooms: Scrub and sanitize toilets, sinks, walls, floors, etc., at least once per shift and spot clean during shift as needed unless a more thorough cleaning is necessary. Check for trash in bathrooms frequently - once every thirty minutes if necessary - to keep floors & stalls clean. This means every bathroom in this facility, none is to be excluded. No exceptions.
- Make sure all soap & paper towel dispensers are full and in good repair a minimum of three times per shift. Garbage cans should be checked and emptied as necessary at a minimum of twice per hour. No one staff member is responsible for all garbage cans. All staff members are expected to check and empty garbage cans during their shifts. This also includes taking trash to the dumpster.
- Leave cleaning tools, supplies, and areas clean and ready for the next shift. This includes ensuring all trash is emptied and carried to dumpster before you leave for the day.
- Strive to work as a team. Assist each other in getting all jobs completed.
- Paper towels and tissue needs to be placed in storage closet and not left outdoors or in bathrooms.
- Any leaves and vacations will be scheduled in advance, unless an emergency occurs.
- There are only two (2) thirty minute breaks per shift. When not on break work needs to be getting done - no sitting in break rooms, visiting other team members in their offices, or standing around talking. No exceptions.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Unloading cases of paper towels and toilet tissue from pallets and placing them in storage. Must be able to lift 45 +/- pounds.
