Chevy Chase Club Culinary Department
Compensation: $65,000$70,000 annually (non-exempt)

Chevy Chase Club, one of the nations premier private clubs, is seeking a talented and motivated Sous Chef Tournant to join our dynamic Culinary Team. This role is ideal for a skilled culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates leadership, and is passionate about developing others through training and mentorship.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Executive Sous Chefs and department leaders by rotating through various kitchens and outlets.
  • Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all menu items.
  • Train, mentor, and develop culinary staff across multiple stations.
  • Maintain a safe, sanitary, and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with the culinary leadership team to create seasonal and innovative menus.
  • Uphold the high standards of excellence expected at Chevy Chase Club.

Candidate Qualities

  • Strong culinary skills with experience in fine dining or high-volume kitchens.
  • Proven leadership ability and a passion for training and developing staff.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple culinary outlets.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Position Details

  • Schedule: Full-time, 50 hours per week (varied schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays).
  • Salary: $65,000$70,000 annually (non-salaried; extended hours are expected in alignment with management responsibilities).
