Weekend Athletic/Event Custodian

Primary Responsibility:

• Maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of facilities before, during, and after sporting events and other activities that may occur on weekends. This role requires attention to detail, and a flexible schedule, as work hours can vary depending on the event schedule and may include evenings, nights, weekends.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Physically able to remain on your feet for up to three hours at a time
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• May involve both indoor and outdoor work, requiring adaptation to various weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule

Chain of Command:

• Reports to HS Athletic Director

Performance Responsibilities:

• General cleaning during athletic and other events: restrooms, bleachers, spectator areas
• Removing trash during and after events
• If cafeteria is used: wiping tables, sweeping floors, mopping as needed, trash
• Other duties as assigned by Athletic Director or Head Custodian

Terms of Employment:

• Seasonal based on need

Pay Rate:

• $16/hr
• 15 hours max per week
