DAY PORTER at a Great Club

The Beautiful Boulder County Club is seeking a daytime Porter. Hours are from 6:15 am-11:15 am

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains Cleanliness of the entire Athletic Center and its grounds

Filling Tennis Court Water Jugs

Emptying all trash bags on-site

Leaf Blowing Outdoor Tennis Courts

Helping set up summer season for the pool with various prep

Helping winterize the pool at the end of the summer season with various prep

Vacuuming the pools

Checking mirrors and glass and making sure all glass and mirrors are clean

Checking all indoor rooms to make sure everything is organized and tidy

Checking various storage sheds and making sure they are organized and tidy

Cleaning all outdoor tables and touchpoints near the snack bar

Constant Cleaning of all indoor touchpoints

Restocking of Supplies

Stocking of incoming vending inventory to the proper areas

Helping set up fun member events

Assisting our staff CPO's with various projects

Assisting our Facilities staff with various projects

Noticing when running low on supplies and reporting it to the Athletic Director

Sweeps/Vacuums or Mops any messes (very rarely)

Reports any necessary repairs or maintenance to the Athletic Director

Pick up any trash or any random items left out that should be stored away in their proper location

Checking pool chemicals and reporting any chemical imbalances to our CPO's immediately

Performs other duties as assigned.

LIGHT FRONT DESK DUTIES WHEN NEEDED: Helping front desk attendant during busy times

Greeting Members

Assisting with members' questions or directing members to the proper staff

Helping the front desk attendant make smoothies

Answering phones and directing calls to the proper staff

Restocking of Smoothie Bar items

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid Driver's License

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to lift 50 lbs to head height, bend, reach, and be on your feet most of the workday.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment is both indoors and outdoors in every season. You must work in all weather conditions although not for extended periods.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.60-18.00 per hour depending on experience if you have your CPO certification completed the position can pay up to $21 with this credential.

Day shift: 6:15 am -11:15am

5.5-hour shift but if busy can sometimes stay slightly longer to help set up for special events
