We are a local independently owned & operated historic cafe seeking a energetic, friendly, and upbeat employee serving the charming Lair Hill neighborhood in South Portland. We primarily specialize in coffee, breakfast, and lunch in addition to providing a variety of craft beer and wine for sale.

Positions include:

1 full-time afternoon to early evening shift. 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Wednesday to Saturday. Sunday 1:00 pm to 6 pm.

1 part-time morning shift. 7:00 am to 2:00 pm. Friday/Saturday

Essential duties include the following:

- Barista

- Cashier

- Daily Food Prep & Slicing

- Sandwich making

- Grill cook (grilled sandwiches and Burgers/Fries)

- Dishwashing, kitchen and general cleaning

- Product stocking

Self-starter, multi-tasker and a genuine desire to provide outstanding customer service are traits most highly desired for this position.

Must enjoy working as part of a team, demonstrate flexibility and willingness to help with whatever is needed.

Our ideal candidate should have at least 1+ year(s) in a busy cafe or restaurant.

Must possess a current, valid Oregon Food Handlers card.

Base pay is dependent on experience with full tip .
