Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate FOH Lead with extensive wine knowledge to join our opening team. As the face of the restaurant, the FOH Lead will ensure that every guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. This role requires leadership, an understanding of Italian cuisine and wine pairings, as well as the ability to train and guide a team in delivering hospitable and warm service.

The ideal candidate will be a wine enthusiast with an understanding of Italian wine regions, varietals, and pairings, and will work closely with the Chef Owner to maintain the restaurant s high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Training: Lead, train, and mentor front-of-house staff, ensuring all team members deliver exceptional service with a focus on professionalism, hospitality, and efficiency.

Wine Expertise: Be the resident wine expert, providing wine rmendations and pairings with menu items, guiding guests through our Italian wine list, and educating staff on wine offerings and tasting notes.

Guest Experience: Oversee guest interactions, ensuring each guest receives a warm, engaging, and personalized experience that aligns with the restaurant s vision of hospitality.

Service Excellence: Manage floor operations during service, ensuring smooth and timely service, addressing any guest concerns or special requests with professionalism.

Collaborate with BOH: Communicate with the kitchen to ensure seamless service and timely delivery of food, while maintaining high standards of presentation.

Menu Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the restaurant s menu, including daily specials, wine list, and the Chef s seasonal rmendations, ensuring staff can accurately describe and rmend dishes and drinks to guests.

Inventory & Ordering: Assist in managing wine inventory, ordering and restocking wine as needed to curate a wine list thatplements the restaurant s offerings.

Events & Private Dining: Assist with theanization and execution of private events, wine dinners, and special wine pairings, ensuring the service is personalized and warm.

Maintain Cleanliness & Organization: Oversee the cleanliness andanization of the dining room, bar, and service areas, ensuring a weing and aesthetically pleasing environment for guests.

Upselling & Sales: Actively promote wine sales through suggestions and pairings, helping to drive revenue while enhancing the guest experience.

Problem-Solving: Manage customer feedback orplaints with professionalism, aiming for resolution that ensures guest satisfaction.

Proven Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role i

Wine Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Italian wines, including understanding regional differences, key varietals, and classic pairings with Italian cuisine.

Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership abilities, with a talent for motivating and guiding a team toward success while maintaining a positive work environment.

Excellent Communication: Clear, confidentmunicator with guests and staff, ensuring a seamless flow of information.

Customer-Centric: A true passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests.

Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, both in service and restaurant presentation.

Flexible Schedule: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, in line with the demands of a busy restaurant.
