Palm Pizza is looking for a server to join our team!

Palm Pizza is the newest concept from the team behind Bufalina Pizza, with a focus on New York-inspired pizzas. We are a counter service restaurant with a full house tip pool.

We are looking for energetic, talented, and self-motivated individuals to and be part of our team.

You genuinely care about food and eating (especially pizza), beverages, dining, hospitality, and detail-oriented service. You are a self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism, respect, and enthusiasm for your craft.

Palm Pizza is currently open Wed-Sun from 11am - 10pm. We are looking for someone who is looking to grow with our small team, is open to playing a dynamic role in the restaurant, and has open availability.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greet guests with a friendly, warm, and inviting demeanor

Manage a bustling restaurant operating dine-in and to go services

Maintain up-to-date and strong knowledge of food and beverage, including a working knowledge of our small, domestic wine list.

Anticipate guests' service needs, including asking questions of guests to better understand their needs and watching/listening to guest preferences, and acting on them whenever possible

Maintain strong knowledge of food allergies, menus, and steps of service

Enter all beverage and food orders into the POS system

Execute wine service according to Palm Pizza's standards

Assist with running food

Assist with ongoing side work including but not limited to running food, polishing plates, silverware, glassware, restocking, etc.

Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout your shift, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures

Answer phone calls and questions about the menu and restaurant

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

Must be 18 years of age or older

Has STRONGmunication skills and genuinely enjoysmunicating with people

Can maintain professionalism, positive attitude during peak service hours

Schedule flexibility/available to work weekends and some holidays

Punctual/arrives on time for scheduled shifts

Self-motivated worker

Strong multitasking skills

Has an active interest in learning about food and wine

Active TABC Certification

Active Food Handlers Certification
