Join the team of one of Greater Bostons most celebrated craft cocktail bars as Server . We are looking for a candidate who we can cross train as a bartender, or someone with both serving and bar experience.
Brick & Mortar is a family run, independent, award-winning neighborhood establishment that has been part of the Central Square community for 14 years. This is a tremendous opportunity to further develop and nurture our spirits program. If you love turntables, classic cocktails, high quality spirits and throwing amazing parties then we are the spot for you.
Candidates would possess the following requirements:
- 2+ years of bar specific experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Well spoken, courteous and professional to our guests and fellow employees alike
- An unwavering dedication towards developing a restaurant culture rooted in hospitality, education and employee development
- Comprehensive food, beverage and spirits knowledge
- Exceptional service and floor skills
- Self-motivated individuals who can think and adapt quickly. Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and move with a sense of urgency
- Strong POS and computer knowledge
Education and Certification:
- Tips or 21+ Training
- Management will work with you to gain or re-certify if you arent currently compliant.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 5 to 10 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
