We are seeking a talented and passionate Cook 3 to join our Culinary team. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in professional cooking who are eager to contribute to a high-performing kitchen focused on quality, creativity, and consistency.

Basic Job Duties and Expectations\:

  • Ability to prepare food according to recipe specifications and food preparation technique, in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Make adjustment to food items to accommodate guest with allergies or specific diet concerns
    • Demonstrate proficiency in a variety of cooking techniques including sauteing, frying, broiling, and preparation of stocks, sauces, and soups

    • Operate and maintain multiple kitchen stations with minimal supervision

    • Support the culinary team by maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant work environment

    • Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive kitchen culture

  • Control and minimize waste
  • Adheres to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures; maintains temperature and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) logs as required; and maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all food items.

    • Minimum 2 years of previous line cooking experience, preferably in a fine dining or upscale hotel setting

    • Culinary degree or relevant hotel/restaurant experience strongly preferred

    • Solid understanding of basic and intermediate cooking methods and kitchen operations

    • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

    • Demonstrated ability to work under moderate supervision and take initiative when necessary

    • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

    • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
