SAVOR, the premier hospitality provider at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center, is seeking dependable and energetic Runners to support our food & beverage operations. Runners are key members of the service team, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages, maintaining a clean and organized service area, and providing excellent support to both guests and staff during events.

Responsibilities

Promptly deliver food and beverage orders from the kitchen or bar to guests in assigned areas.

Assist with setup, restocking, and breakdown of service stations during events.

Clear dishes, trays, and glassware from guest areas and return them to the kitchen or designated stations.

Refill beverages, utensils, napkins, and other supplies as needed.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas throughout shifts.

Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and supervisors to ensure smooth service flow.

Assist with large event setups, including banquets, receptions, and outdoor shows.

Provide outstanding customer service by responding quickly to guest requests and ensuring a professional, courteous demeanor at all times.

Requirements

Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred but not required.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and remain on feet for extended periods.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and event-driven schedules.

Must maintain a professional appearance and follow all dress code and grooming standards.

Event Staff/Food Service

When working in Event Staff or Food Service Position through Bluecrew, you may be expected to do any and all of the following:

  • Working independently or in a team to cook, prepare, serve, or transport food items
  • Engaging with customers while operating a point of sale machine or cash register in a professional and courteous manner
  • Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, cooking equipment, or other items at the start or end of your shift
  • Work on your feet, either stationary or constantly moving for the full shift
  • Reaching, crouching, bending over, and other physically strenuous activities at times, as required by the immediate supervisor
  • Comfortable working in a busy and at times hectic environment
  • There may be a specific dress code, but if it is not listed, please make sure to wear close-toed shoes and pants.
  • Note for that for any event staff position that requires handling food, you will need to follow GMP guidelines which include keeping your hair up, neatly trimmed fingernails, and you may be required to cover any facial hair.

It is important to Bluecrew that you go home in the same healthy state that you came to work in, so please do not accept this assignment if you cannot fulfill all of the above duties.
