We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Food Runner with 1 + YEARS OF EXPERIENCE to oversee food being dropped to the correct tables, ensuring that the food is delivered to the appropriate guest with the correct table markings, notifying the chef if a dish is not up to standards, and assisting with the execution of takeout. You must have the ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
The DeNucci's Food Runner responsibilities include delivering food to tables, describing the dishes to guests, performing tableside service, monitoring guest satisfaction and assisting the kitchen in expediting the service process. Potential candidates must be competent with knowledge of fine dining food preparation, food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines and has the ability to describe all menu items, prices and methods of preparation.
Experience in a fine dining establishment and confidently displaying the feel-good hospitality that Ballyhoo is known for are both important for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Welcome all guests and ensure guests receive responsive, professional and gracious service at all times.
- Communicate with other service staff to always ensure the wants and needs of guests are fulfilled.
- Understand the order taken by the Server and any changes in the menu, dietary restrictions, food allergies, etc.
- Assist the Chef in expediting the food to the dining room.
- Keep the expediter station and kitchen stocked with plates, plate wipes, doilies, etc. throughout service.
- Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurants standards.
- Describe dinner features as needed (including changes and additions).
- Answer any questions about the menu, specific food items, the wine list or any other inquiries the guest may have.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment all times in the Dining Room and all service stations.
- Perform all side work applicable to assigned station.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- At least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Two years or more years of dining room experience and thorough knowledge of fine dining, service procedures and functions.
- Maintain a Basset and ServeSafe Food HandlersCertification.
- Successful completion of the companys Food and Beverage training program.
Compensation: Hourly ($9.00) plus tips
