EVS Floor Care Attendant - Full Time (Tropicana Laughlin)

As a Floor Technician at Caesars Entertainment, youll be the driving force behind the polished, pristine look of our property. From carpets to tile and wood surfaces, your work ensures every step our guests take is on a spotless floor. With a focus on excellence and a commitment to our Family Style Service, youll help create an environment thats as clean as it is welcoming.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Your role is hands-on and high-impact. Key responsibilities include:

• Carpet Care : Vacuum, extract, and spot-clean carpets throughout the property to maintain a fresh and professional appearance.
• Floor Maintenance : Strip, scrub, mop (damp and dry), and buff wood, tile, and concrete floors to a gleaming finish.
• Furniture Cleaning : Extract and deep-clean chairs and stools as needed.
• Equipment Hygiene : Clean machinery thoroughly after each use to ensure safety and longevity.
• Reporting : Notify the EVS Manager of any equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Flexibility : Take on additional duties as assigned with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Reliability : Be available for all scheduled shifts and demonstrate consistent dependability.
• Service Excellence : Uphold the Family Style Service model in every interaction and task.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, youll need:

Cleaning & Maintenance Experience

• Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping roles
• Hands-on knowledge of floor care techniques: stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet extraction
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety protocols

Equipment Handling

• Experience operating floor machines like auto scrubbers, buffers, carpet extractors, and vacuums
• Ability to maintain and clean equipment after use

Attention to Detail

• Spotting stains, wear, or damage that others might miss
• Ensuring high standards of cleanliness in public and back-of-house areas

Language Skills

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to read and write basic documents such as lists, memos, and correspondence.
