Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. • Clear and set tables in accordance with company standards and guidelines.
• Maintains cleanliness and quality of food at the Wok/Sushi station.
• Makes sure all supplies are adequately stocked.
• Assist Food Servers as needed.
• Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
• Adheres to proper cleanliness and sanitation standards as set forth by ServSafe.
• Initiates a positive guest experience when working any front buffet line station or in public contact by providing a welcome and/or greeting, making eye contact, describing food offerings, smiling, and bidding a warm farewell and good luck, etc.
• Ability to safely and correctly operate basic kitchen equipment.
• Ability to handle service trays, glass racks and china trolleys. Safely operate pull carts and linen bins.
• Assist in thoroughly cleaning work areas and equipment prior to end of shift.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
