Barista

The Role

Were hiring Full-Time Baristas who are passionate about specialty coffee and thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. Youll prepare drinks to a high standard, engage warmly with guests, and help deliver the daily magic that defines Tobys Estate. This is a chance to be part of something new and exciting in NYC coffee.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare espresso, filter coffee, and other beverages to Tobys Estate recipes and standards
Deliver warm, genuine hospitality with every guest interaction
Maintain cleanliness and organization across all cafe stations and FOH areas
Operate the POS system accurately and handle transactions
Replenish stock and supplies during service
Follow NYC food safety and workplace compliance standards
Participate in team training, calibration sessions, and tastings
Support opening and closing procedures as scheduled
Uphold brand values and contribute to a positive team culture
About You

2-3+ year experience in specialty or third wave coffee
Passionate about great coffee and people
Friendly, professional, and team-oriented
Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
Available to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
Eligible to work in the U.S.
