JOB OPENING: MAINTENANCE CUSTODIAN II
The Groton Public Library is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual for Maintenance Custodian to keep our beautiful building and grounds clean and well-maintained. Responsibilities include: daily cleaning of public areas, restrooms, and meeting rooms; restocking supplies and managing inventory; performing seasonal tasks like snow and ice removal and lawn mowing; and setting up meeting rooms and helping on-site contractors.
Work 27 hours per week, early weekday mornings, Monday through Friday. Position comes with a full (pro-rated) town benefits package and pays $21.87 to $31.23 per hour, depending on experience. Must be a self-starter who works well independently. Must have at least one year of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and knowledge of standard cleaning methods and equipment.
