Position Overview
The Facility Janitor will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining both the aircraft maintenance hangar/shop and administrative office areas. This role helps ensure a professional and safe work environment for employees and customers.
Responsibilities
Perform daily cleaning of office areas, including floors, restrooms, break rooms, and common spaces.
Maintain cleanliness in the aircraft maintenance shop and hangar, including sweeping, mopping, and removing debris.
Empty and dispose of trash and recycling in designated areas.
Restock restrooms and breakroom supplies.
Clean windows, doors, and high-traffic touch points regularly.
Monitor and report maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation procedures.
Assist with special projects or event setup/cleanup as needed.
Qualifications
Previous janitorial or custodial experience.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and reliability.
Physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
Comfort working in both office and industrial/hangar settings.
