Join a dedicated team as an Assistant Housekeeper on a part-time, on-site basis, supporting a healthcare facility in the Southern Gulf Coast region. This role involves selecting appropriate cleaning materials, preparing solutions, and efficiently managing service carts to maintain cleanliness across patient rooms and specialized areas such as surgical and catheterization labs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly clean patient rooms post-discharge, including bed changes, floors, bathrooms, bedside tables, and blinds.
- Maintain cleanliness in surgical and cath lab areas as assigned.
- Perform dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping throughout the facility.
- Ensure adequate linen stock and quality, reporting any issues to supervisory staff.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and return supplies to proper locations.
- Clean public and staff areas, including plazas and medical office buildings.
- Manage waste collection, including hazardous materials, following infection control protocols.
- Clean isolation rooms according to CDC and facility policies.
- Assist with floor cleaning and other duties as assigned to support organizational values and mission.
Education and Experience:
No formal education requirements specified; prior housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred.
