Housekeeper Jobs in Shelby, NC

In the hospitality service industry, a Housekeeper is primarily responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within hotel rooms and public areas. They take care of dusting, vacuuming, making beds, replacing linens, and cleaning bathrooms. In addition, they often serve as the main contact for guest requests during their stay, such as extra towels or bedding. Though not always required, certifications such as a Certified Executive Housekeeper (CEH) or Registered Executive Housekeeper (REH) are recognized credentials in the industry. Prior roles that might lead to a career as a Housekeeper include being a Room Attendant, Laundry Attendant, or Janitor/Custodian.
