Slot Technician II, III

POSITION SUMMARY

You will perform general maintenance tasks and respond to floor calls, assuring that our guests will return. Your previous experience and drive to expand your skills and knowledge will be rewarded.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the repair, overhaul, and proper preventative maintenance of all player terminals to ensure optimal operation.
• Be proactive and identify problems & solutions and follow up with the Slot Tech Assistant Manager.
• Communicate by radio with Slot Attendants and other Casino personnel to address issues in a timely manner.
• Give exceptional service to customers and team members while performing job duties.
• Will assist in moving and installing gaming devices using equipment such as two and four-wheel dollies, and single-person machine lifting equipment.
• Responsible for the break down, relocation, and re set-up of machines and stands.
• Accountable for maintaining accurate and thorough departmental records and reports.
• Properly diagnose machine issues and become proficient with machine diagrams, repair manuals, schematics, and other equipment-related materials.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Slot Tech II & III require 2 & 4 years of experience.
• Slot Tech II & III require advanced knowledge.
• Required Electronic and Mechanical troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Strong customer service background and excellent guest service skills required.
• Must have an outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills, must be fluent and literate in English.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal and employee relations skills.
• Must be able to tolerate working with varying personality types.
• Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise, smoke, and temperature levels.
• Must be able to multitask and use good judgement.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised at times.
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Must be able to troubleshoot various components of a slot machine.
• Technology background preferred.
• Required experience working in the gaming industry or with slot machines.
• Knowledge of electronic and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Valid driver's license (Must be in possession while operating a Tribal Vehicle).
