• MV-Housekeeping
• Part Time Status
• Night Shift
• Pay: Starting at: $15.00 / hour

• The Housekeeper works under the supervision of Housekeeping Leadership. Provides cleaning inpatient and non-patient areas, moves furniture, and performs a variety of miscellaneous responsibilities necessary to maintain a sanitary, safe, orderly and attractive environment.

• Demonstrates proper hand hygiene and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Demonstrates knowledge and proper use of cleaning and disinfecting chemicals.
• Performs terminal cleaning of discharged patient rooms, following the appropriate cleaning checklist.
• Performs cleaning of public restrooms, common, and ancillary areas throughout the facility and replenishes housekeeping supplies as assigned.
• Demonstrates the ability to properly empty waste receptacles, change needle (sharps) containers, and transports regular and bio-hazard waste to appropriate destinations.
• Other duties as assigned

• All required education is a minimum requirement. Higher levels of education are acceptable. High School Diploma required.
• CPI training for those working in Mental Health or obtained within 180 days required.
• Cleaning experience preferred.
