ECU Health Medical Center, one of four academic medical centers in North Carolina, is the 974-bed flagship hospital for ECU Health and serves as the primary teaching hospital for The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. ECU Health Medical Center has achieved Magnet designation twice and provides acute and intermediate care, rehabilitation and outpatient health services to a 29-county region that is home to more than 1.4 million people.

Position Summary

Performs landscaping / grounds care tasks and other duties as needed.

Minimum Requirements

High school graduate plus 2 years of formal training- or higher.

or education and more than three years but less than 4 years experience.

Class B N.C. driver's license (preferred) , N.C. Pesticide Ground Applications license or must have documented knowledge of complex specialized landscape equipment.

Must maintain a valid North Carolina driver's license or be licensed in the state that one resides and maintain the UHS required minimum insurance limits.

• Day Shift

• 7-3:30 Monday thru Friday

• On call 11p - 7a Mon-Fri and 24 hrs Sat/Sun every 2-3 months

• Work onsite 4 hr Saturdays when on call

• Mandatory overtime with inclement weather

• On Call Required
