We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking host to join our front of house team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and organization, with experience in handling multiple tasks under stress. As a host, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely flow of the evening and be an essential part of making every guest feel welcomed when they enter the door. Responsibilities Organize and execute reservation list each night according to established systems and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests (washing hands, hair tied back etc). Collaborate with other restaurant staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Seat guests in a timely manner and assist in preparing tables for the next seating. Coordinate with bussers and runners to ensure tables are cleared and ready for guests arrival. Participate in catering events as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred. Strong skills in time management, multitasking, and general knowledge of local area. Familiarity with Toast POS and OpenTable reservation systems. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant setting while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication with team mates and guests. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well within a team. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
