Laundry Linen Worker- HGA- 1st or 2nd shift

Overview

Performs numerous tasks involved in the sorting, processing, surgical pack make up or cart make up area of laundry in order to supply a quality product to customers. Operates and monitors power laundry equipment involved with linen processing.

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to stand for eight hours or more per day
• Occassionally lifts up to 10 lbs. This occurs when stacking and carrying folded linens
• Temperature of working environment may range from 60 degrees to 95 degrees. Working atmospher contains fumes, odors, dust and dirt.
• May be exposed to soiled linen items. As a result, protective clothing must be worn on soil line.
• Operates all equipment as necessary to perform the job.
• Abides by established standards of courtesy and safety and abides by department dress code as it applies to each area.
