Fairgrounds Temporary Maintenance Worker

The Gallatin County Fairgrounds is hiring Temporary Maintenance Workers for the 2024 Big Sky Country State Fair. Dates Required: June 9th, 2025 July 25th, 2025

Duties:

• Custodial, cleaning buildings, emptying garbage cans, servicing restrooms, cleaning stalls and barns.
• Event prep, setting up tables, chairs, display equipment, stock panels, etc.
• Basic handyman skills and tool proficiency

• Valid drivers license preferred
• Able to work with public.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must provide own hat and gloves.
• Work outside majority of the time in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to work varying shifts and weekends as needed.

Hours:

• 40 hours per week minimum with coffee and meal break.
• Assigned shifts of 6A 3P; 2P 11P; 10P 7A during Big Sky Country State Fair July 16 20, 2025
