Nine Restaurant Group was founded by a team of local investors. Their first venture, Nine, is a modern fine dining restaurant showcasing French cuisine with strong European influences. Located in historic Beacon Hill, Nine pays homage to tradition while embracing contemporary culinary innovation.
Nine is seeking to hire a warm, professional, and detail-oriented Host to be the first point of contact for our guests. This role oversees the front door and they are responsible for providing warm hospitality to guests, managing reservations and walk-ins, as well as helping to facilitate the flow of service throughout the night.
This is a fantastic opportunity for any individual to be part of an ambitious group both within this restaurant and the expansion plans for the future.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests with professionalism and warmth.
Manage reservations and seating to ensure smooth service flow.
Maintain an organized and elegant reception area.
Communicate effectively with guests and staff to accommodate special requests.
Assist with coat check and other guest services as needed.
Answer phones and provide guests with requested information and arrange bookings.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2+ years working as a host in a fine dining restaurant
Has a passion for exceptional hospitality in food and beverage
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to remain composed and gracious under pressure
Professional appearance and demeanor
Experience using OpenTable (preferred)
