As a Host / Hostess , you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive. Utilizing your core skills in host/hostess experience, food service, and exceptional communication, you will seat guests, manage reservations, and ensure a smooth flow of service. Your relevant skills in POS systems, guest relations, and hospitality will enhance the overall guest experience and contribute to the success of our establishment. Job Description

  • Responsible for general front-of-house hosting/management/overseeing.
  • Serve as the liaison between the customers, staff, and company to ensure satisfaction at all levels.
  • Take part in reservation management planning and execute accordingly.
  • Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner and put them on a waiting list as necessary.
  • Provide guests with menus and answer any initial questions.
  • Seat guests at tables or in waiting areas.
  • Assign guests to tables they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the right number of customers.
  • Respond to complaints and help to resolve them.
  • Answer phone calls, make reservations, and answer questions they may have.
  • Assist team members with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
  • Responsible for providing outstanding customer service from the minute they first arrive.
  • Ensure complete customer satisfaction with our food and service.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years Host/hostess experience
  • Food service background
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Previous restaurant experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of Toast POS system
  • Knowledge of ResyOS Reservation Software
  • Experience in a hotel setting
  • Ability to provide exceptional guest services
  • Proficiency in serving and hospitality
  • Strong phone etiquette and guest relations skills
