This position is located in the Abiquiu Area.
Salary $22.00/Hour plus $100.00 sign on Bonus
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and cooking, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality meals according to recipes and standards while maintaining cleanliness and food safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards.
Ensure food is presented and served properly and on time.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines in all food handling and preparation.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including equipment and workstations.
Assist with inventory control, including storing and labeling food properly.
Collaborate with kitchen staff and support other team members as needed.
Monitor food stock and communicate shortages or needed supplies to management.
Adhere to portion controls and minimize waste.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant, hotel, or similar setting.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
Ability to follow recipes and multitask in a high-pressure environment.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; culinary training is a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Work in a hot and fast-paced kitchen environment.
