The Kitchen Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a kitchen to ensure efficient food preparation, cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations. This role involves, managing inventory and supplies, supporting menu planning, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment. The Kitchen Coordinator works closely with administration to ensure smooth service and high-quality food output.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Current CPR Certification.
- Current First Aid Certification.
- Food Safety Certification strongly preferred.
- Valid California Driver’s License with a safe driving record as determined by Casa Colina’s insurance underwriters.
- Criminal clearance from the Department of Justice before employment or initial presence in the facility.
- Preferred six month experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Ability to function as a team member
- Clear, concise and direct verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to deal effectively with a variety of clients with disabilities
- Ability to follow and implement emergency procedures as outlined in the policy and procedure manual.
