The Kitchen Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a kitchen to ensure efficient food preparation, cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations. This role involves, managing inventory and supplies, supporting menu planning, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment. The Kitchen Coordinator works closely with administration to ensure smooth service and high-quality food output.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  1. Current CPR Certification.
  2. Current First Aid Certification.
  3. Food Safety Certification strongly preferred.
  4. Valid California Driver’s License with a safe driving record as determined by Casa Colina’s insurance underwriters.
  5. Criminal clearance from the Department of Justice before employment or initial presence in the facility.
  6. Preferred six month experience working with individuals with disabilities
  7. Ability to function as a team member
  8. Clear, concise and direct verbal and written communication skills.
  9. Ability to deal effectively with a variety of clients with disabilities
  10. Ability to follow and implement emergency procedures as outlined in the policy and procedure manual.
