We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth guest flow. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both guests and staff. Weekend availability is required.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage seating arrangements to optimize guest experience.
- Maintain an organized waitlist during busy periods, ensuring timely communication with guests.
- Provide information about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies to guests.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
Experience
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Familiarity with food service operations is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members.
- A passion for providing exceptional guest services in a fast-paced environment.
