Digital Marketing Event Coordinator - Slate exp & higher edu

Our higher education client is looking to hire a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Event Coordinator with Slate CRM experience to join their growing team. This is a full time hybrid opportunity, leaning remote but with onsite campus visits (lower Westchester) required as needed. This individual will support the planning, promotion, and execution of recruitment events that drive student enrollment and engagement. A key focus of the role is assisting with event-related communications and workflows through Slate CRM to ensure a seamless, high-quality experience for prospective and current students from first invitation through post-event follow-up. Key Responsibilities: - Along with the marketing team, help plan and coordinate key university events including Open Houses, Accepted Student Days, Webinars, Campus Tours, and other enrollment-focused initiatives (some of these events are virtual) - Coordinate event schedules with each department and input them into Slate - Develop and manage event timelines, task lists, and logistics plans, coordinating with presenters and staff to ensure clear roles, readiness, and consistent messaging - Oversee all event-day operations and serve as the on-site contact to ensure an excellent participant experience - Ensure all presentation materials are finalized and ready prior to each event - Draft and support the execution of event-related communications in Slate CRM, including invitations, reminders, confirmations, and post-event follow-ups - Collaborate with the Admissions and Marketing teams to ensure messaging is aligned with university goals and brand voice - Track event engagement and attendance through Slate and support post-event reporting and analysis Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field required - Direct and hands on experience working with Slate CRM - Strong project management skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet multiple deadlines - Excellent written communication and proofreading skills - Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and work independently as needed - Highly organized, adaptable, and committed to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environmen In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
