Porter/Detailer

Chami Automotive Inc is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Porter/Detailer to join our team. This role supports both the service and sales departments by ensuring vehicles are clean, presentable, and properly moved on and off the lot. The position also involves vehicle pickup and drop-off at auctions and other dealerships.

Key Responsibilities:
Porter Duties:

Move vehicles throughout the dealership lot and service area.
Pick up and drop off vehicles at auctions or other dealerships as needed.
Shuttle customers to and from the dealership in a friendly and safe manner.
Assist with maintaining an organized and clean lot.
Retrieve or deliver vehicles and parts as requested.

Detailer Duties:

Clean and detail the interior and exterior of vehicles to dealership standards.
Vacuum, shampoo carpets, and clean surfaces inside vehicles.
Wash, wax, and apply protective treatments to exterior surfaces.
Perform final quality checks before vehicle delivery or display.

Requirements:
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
Previous experience in detailing or portering is a plus but not required.

Work Conditions:
Outdoor and indoor work environment.
Must be able to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
Exposure to vehicle cleaning agents and traffic on lot.

Funciones de Porter:

Transportar a los clientes desde y hacia el concesionario de manera amable y segura.
Ayudar a mantener el lote organizado y limpio.
Recoger o entregar vehiculos y partes segun se solicite.

Funciones de Detailer:
Limpiar y detallar el interior y exterior de los vehiculos segun los estandares del concesionario.
Aspirar, lavar alfombras y limpiar las superficies interiores.
Lavar, encerar y aplicar tratamientos protectores en las superficies exteriores.
Realizar inspecciones de calidad final antes de la entrega o exhibicion del vehiculo.

Requisitos:
Licencia de conducir valida con un historial limpio.
Capacidad para manejar vehiculos con transmision automatica y manual.
Ser confiable, puntual y con iniciativa propia.
Gran atencion al detalle y orgullo por su trabajo.
Capacidad para trabajar al aire libre y en diversas condiciones climaticas.
Experiencia previa en detallado o traslado de vehiculos es una ventaja, pero no es obligatoria.

Condiciones de trabajo:
Ambiente de trabajo tanto en interiores como al aire libre.
Capacidad para estar de pie, agacharse y levantar hasta 50 libras regularmente.
Exposicion a productos de limpieza de vehiculos y trafico dentro del lote.
