Cashier and Host

The White Gull Inn Restaurant is looking to fill one final position for the 2025 summer season. The position includes cashiering and hosting, and could be full-time or part-time, depending on whether the applicant is interested in both the morning and evening components. The morning cashier position is four days a week, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 am - 1:30 pm, and the evening fish boil host position is four evenings a week, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 4:00 pm - 8:30 pm. The cashier checks out breakfast and lunch guests, assists hotel houseguests, and sells retail from the gift shop. The fish boil host greets guests, confirms their reservation, shows them to their table, and assists the servers with clearing and resetting the dining room between serving times. Applicants should be comfortable talking to guests, using an iPad/tablet, and being on their feet for 4-6 hours.
