Groundskeeper - FT

Overview**The **Groundskeeper** position performs landscaping and light maintenance on company owned assets. The property includes a truck stop/convenience store. - ughout store and on roof tops; Replace burned out lights both inside and outside of store when feasible.; Check all pole lights and signage for outages and report them to the manager on duty; Provide a list of supplies, parts and tools needed to manager on duty.- Monthly: Pressure wash all fuel islands and drive lanes; Change air filters in store.- Respond to snow events-plowing/ shoveling must become familiar with snow plow operation; Respond to major rain events-pump water from our tank basin; Both may need to be done after hours.**What You'll Need:**- Experience in landscaping and light maintenance is preferred- **Must be at least 19 years of age**- Must have valid driver license- Ability to respond evenings and weekends when needed- Ability to work well and communicate with co-workers- Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs and work outside year-round- Must abide by the dress code policy and wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE - gloves, raingear, warm clothing to allow for work in the elements for up to 8 hours at a time)- Ability to balance on a step stool or ladder- Flexibility to work from the floor level to the roof top**Hours**: Part time, 8-29 hours/week**Shift:** **2 days/week, mornings - **Days and times may vary, including weekends, evenings, and some holidays.
