## Counter Worker/Barista Job Description## Position OverviewWe are seeking a friendly, energetic Counter Worker/Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving beverages and food items to our customers. You will be the face of our establishment, creating positive experiences that keep customers coming back.## Responsibilities- Greet customers warmly and take accurate orders- Prepare specialty coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to recipes and customer preferences- Operate and maintain espresso machines, coffee brewers, and other cafe equipment- Handle food preparation including warming pastries, making sandwiches, and plating items as needed- Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system- Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, tables, and equipment throughout shifts- Stock inventory and alert management when supplies are low- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines- Provide product information and recommendations to customers- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
