Job DetailsOdre is a new vibrant restaurant, led by chef ChangKi Kang . We are serving reinterpreted traditional Korean food with New Yorks seasonal ingredients in prix-fixe menu style. Odre will operate 6 days a week, Tuesday to Saturday and Sunday. We are seeking to hire passionate and experienced Captains who are looking to grow together with the company.
Position Summary
The captain will be responsible for providing excellent table service to guests by leading the service team to deliver the best experience for the guest. Taking orders for food and beverages, delivering orders to the table, and ensuring that patrons have a pleasant dining experience. The captain should be responsible for making sure the service is ready to go.
Qualifications :
- Applicants must be legal to work in the US
- At least 2 year of serving experience (In NYC preferred)
- Basic beverage knowledge
- Team building and leadership
- Joyful, outgoing, guest-centric individuals who have a passion for great food and wine served with care and consistency
- Experience using a POS system (TOAST Preferred)
- Positive, joyful, guest-centric individuals who have a passion for great food and wine served with care and consistency
- Knowledge of Korean cuisine is a plus!
Responsibilities:
- Knowledgeable about the menu, able to make recommendations and answer guests questions
- Greeting guests and taking orders in a friendly and professional manner
- Serving food and drinks promptly and efficiently
- Handling cash and credit card payments
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 20 lbs if necessary
