Job description

We are seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at Maldonado Nursery & Landscaping, Inc., a leader in commercial landscaping services. As the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and vendors, the Receptionist plays a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient office environment. This individual will handle incoming calls, greet guests, and provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office.

Job Duties:

  • · Greet clients, visitors, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls and take detailed messages
  • Manage general email inboxes and distribute messages appropriately
  • Maintain a clean, organized front desk and reception area
  • Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, data entry, and document preparation
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings for office and field staff as needed
  • Support project managers, sales teams, and field crews with clerical tasks
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and order items when necessary
  • Handle time-sensitive documents with confidentiality and professionalism
  • Enter new hire information into Paycom and initiate onboarding tasks
  • Assist new hires in completing onboarding paperwork and required documentation
  • Provide support to field employees with Paycom logins, password resets, and navigation
  • Follow up on incomplete onboarding tasks to ensure timely completion
  • Coordinate with HR and management to ensure employee records are accurate and up to date

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift 7AM-4PM
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
Qualifications Required

-2+ years of Receptionist or Administrative Assistant experience

-Must be bilingual in Spanish

-Must be comfortable sitting in-office full time
