Are you a hospitality professional with a heart for service and a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences? Join our senior living community as a Dining Services Manager, where your leadership will directly enhance the daily lives of our residents and guests.
You'll oversee the daily operations of our diverse dining venues - including our restaurant, Fairway Grille, our Cafe, the Coffee Cart, and special catered events. Your role will ensure that every meal is served with the warmth and dignity our residents deserve.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee service of daily meals and lead catering and events including but not limited to: organizing, planning, setting up and breaking down of events, training staff, and execution of the full event.
- Manage staff and interview prospective employees, and partner with the Human Resources office to on-board new employees.
- Collaborate with the back-of-house team to ensure smooth communication and service flow.
- Maintain accurate POS system and records, including meal counts, resident/department/team member charges and daily sales reports.
- Collaborate with community departments to create special events and themes for resident dining.
- Create and implement new concepts and programs for the department.
- Assist in developing and maintaining dining services policies and procedures.
- Perform administrative duties such as completing necessary forms, reports, evaluations, catering event billing monthly or as needed.
- On a continual basis, trains and guides staff in departmental policies, procedures, and sanitary practices to ensure state and federal guidelines are maintained.
- Conduct staff meetings, create agendas and training material as needed and demonstrate FOH Skills and Standards while mentoring staff.
- Manage and implement department systems and processes as needed in collaboration with the Director of Dining Services.
- Prepare monthly reporting including but not limited to inventory, event costing and meal sales reporting. Ensure timely, accurate, and complete reports are submitted monthly based on established timelines.
- Maintain an efficient department and a high quality of server team members by interviewing, training, scheduling, payroll, supervision and timely performance evaluation and timely feedback to culinary team members.
What You'll Need:
- Minimum of (2) year of experience in a restaurant or retirement dining services as a Supervisor or Manager.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in food service.
- ServSafe & Allergan Certified
- Hotel, fine dining restaurant or country club culinary experience preferred
- Catering experience preferred
