Our kitchen, led by Executive Chef Nan , creates fresh, seasonal dishes designed to pair with our handcrafted California wines. We're currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our team and help bring that vision to life.

About Our Executive Chef:
Our culinary program at Turks Head Wines is rooted in the wines we craft thoughtful, expressive, and designed to be shared. Executive Chef Nan brings that same philosophy to the kitchen, creating seasonal, ingredient-driven dishes that complement and elevate our wines.
Our kitchen is led by Executive Chef Nan, whose career spans some of the countrys top culinary destinations. Hes trained at The Little Nell in Aspen (a Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond property), cooked under Louis Tikaram at E.P. & L.P. in LA, and worked at Bosq in Aspen, known for its hyper-local, foraged cuisine. Nan has also served as Chef de Cuisine at The Monarch steakhouse and contributed to the celebrated tasting menus at Corvino Supper Club & Tasting Room in Kansas City.
Now at Turks Head Wines, Chef Nan is building a talented, collaborative kitchen team rooted in seasonality, creativity, and respect for the craft. Part-Time or Full-Time | Day Shift (8am4pm or 9am5pm) | Some Weekend Availability Required
What You'll Do:
Wash, peel, chop, and cut vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients as directed
Measure and mix ingredients following recipes or direction from leadership
Label, date, and properly store prepped items to ensure freshness and food safety
Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas, equipment, and refrigerators
Assist with basic cooking tasks such as grilling, sauteing, or assembling simple dishes
Monitor food inventory and communicate shortages to kitchen leadership
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Dispose of waste properly and help maintain a hygienic kitchen throughout your shift
Assist with opening duties, including service setup and station stocking
Who You Are:
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Focused, organized, and detail-oriented
Able to follow instructions and work independently when needed
Interested in learning and growing in a professional kitchen environment
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet for the duration of your shift
Prior prep or kitchen experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate
