Job Posting: Direct Hire Receptionist Position Location: Downtown Los Angeles (DTLA) Pay: $30/hr (depending on experience) Job Summary LHH is looking for a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our client's team in their Los Angeles office. The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for all callers, clients, and guests, ensuring a positive and efficient experience. This role involves greeting and assisting visitors, managing calls, and facilitating smooth transitions between reception and the host attorney or staff member. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Answer incoming calls professionally, route them to the appropriate party, and take accurate messages when necessary. Greet clients, guests, and visitors courteously, and promptly notify the host of their arrival. Escort clients, guests, and visitors to the appropriate conference rooms, and inform them of available amenities such as beverages, supplies, and directories. Book conference rooms and handle requests for catering, audio/visual equipment, room setup, and other needs using conference room booking software. Assign visitor offices to visiting attorneys and send out announcements regarding their visit. Enter new hires, guests, clients, contractors, and food deliveries into the building security system, ensuring proper certificates of insurance are provided when needed. Maintain a clean and neat Reception Desk and guest seating areas at all times. Check the main voicemail box for messages and notify the appropriate party of any messages received. Qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and conference room booking software. Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred.
