Maintenance Mechanic

PeopleShare is seeking a Maintenance Mechanicto join a manufacturing operations team. This hands-on role supports the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing equipment and facility systems. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, capable of both preventive and corrective maintenance.

Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Horsham, PA
Pay: $26-$30/hour
Schedule: 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities!

Responsibilities for Maintenance Mechanic:

• Promptly recognize and resolve equipment malfunctions to minimize production downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair plant systems including pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and steam.
• Diagnose and repair electrical control systems, sensors, relays, and PLCs.
• Perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance (PM) and document results.
• Maintain supplies, parts, and accurate maintenance records.
• Ensure housekeeping tasks are completed by end of shift in line with 6S standards.
• Train and guide others in maintenance practices and equipment operations.
• Consistently meet safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Requirements for Maintenance Mechanic:

• Strong working knowledge of facility and manufacturing systems: pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics, PLCs, and HMIs; CMMS and SCADA system knowledge a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and convert designs into functional installations.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate heavy equipment (forklifts, cranes, hoists, elevated platforms).
• Availability for occasional call-in and overtime support.
