RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Specific Competencies:
Perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain JCMG in a clean and orderly manner, including physician offices, clinics, lobby, patient waiting areas, restrooms and other areas as assigned.
Assists in maintaining a safe environment.
JCMG Core Competencies:
Strives for continuous quality improvement.
Participates in educational experiences designed to maintain and/or improve professional competence.
Maintains high work ethic standards.
Provides quality customer service to staff, patients and visitors at all times.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High school diploma or GED desired
Experience:
Minimum of one-year work experience preferably in a healthcare setting
Certification/License:
N/A
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Use mops, brooms, vacuum and work with cleaning fluids, chemicals, cleaning agents or similar solutions using proper protective equipment.
Knowledge of basic office cleaning equipment and supplies.
Must be able to read instructions; understand written and verbal directions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is in a heated/air conditioned building. Exposure to harsh cleaning agents and toxic chemicals. Frequent exposure to dirty and unsanitary conditions. Exposure to contaminated wastes and body fluids. Frequently exposure to cleaning fluids and toxic materials.
