The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for greeting, seating, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Youll manage the front of house flow, maintain a waitlist when necessary, and support the team in delivering excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet all guests warmly and promptly upon arrival
Manage waitlists and reservations using OpenTable
Seat guests in a timely and efficient manner
Monitor table turnover and communicate with servers and management
Answer phones and assist with guest inquiries and takeout orders
Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area
Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
Qualifications:
Previous customer service or restaurant experience preferred
Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor
Strong communication and organizational skills
Able to stand for extended periods and handle busy shifts along with multitasking
Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (as needed)
