Job Summary

The Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the property is always maintained in the best possible condition with the least amount of inconvenience to guests and associates.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent

3-5 years of experience in a maintenance position, preferably in the hospitality field

Trade school and/or college course work in related field helpful

General Requirements

Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels of associates and guests

Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines

Comply with AT Hospitality standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient property operations

Must be able to understand and apply complex information and data from various sources to meet appropriate objectives

Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating operational needs

Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times

Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by associates and guests

Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary

Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas, and assist in implementing solutions
