The role of the PT Evening Custodian is to clean and maintain campus buildings and to perform other custodial duties relative to assigned area of responsibility. All rooms and service areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standard.
Perform general housekeeping duties in assigned building(s) including offices, hallways, meeting rooms, classrooms and restrooms, including sanitizing and restocking the restrooms.
Remove trash in the buildings and deposit it into a container for removal from the campus.
Maintain a clean, orderly and safe environment in all campus facilities and grounds for faculty, staff, patrons and visitors.
Perform regular maintenance of floors including, but not limited to, stripping and waxing, buffing, dust mopping, damp mopping, and carpet care as scheduled.
Perform other duties as are assigned by supervisor and administration.

Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in janitorial services or related industry
Most possess a valid NC Drivers License
Physical Requirements
Must be able to tolerate exposure to elements such as weather, noise, dust, and odors.
Continuous walking and climbing of stairs required.
Bending, stooping, and reaching, with the ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull items weighing up to 50 pounds required.
Preferred
A minimum of three (3) years of experience in janitorial services or related industry.
