PT Weekend Prep Cook

The Hilton Boca Raton Suites is looking for a Part Time Weekend Prep Cook to join their amazing Breakfast Team.

The Prep Cook is responsible for assisting in the preparation of foods ensuring timely delivery of food items, quality of food, and overall presentation of the food. Also responsible for assisting in the maintenance and overall cleanliness of the kitchen.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Opens shift by preparing and organizing the stations and preparing all foods
• Greet guests promptly and begin breakfast orders as requested by guests, ensuring that all orders following standard recipes and procedures.
• Coordinate all hot and cold food preparation
• Prepare food items for buffet and ensure buffet is full replenished throughout breakfast
• Performs prep work and production of items needed for the day and following day
• Assists Breakfast Cook on line if needed
• Maintains compliance with all food safety and sanitation guidelines, company and brand policies and procedures
• Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 1 year experience in a fast paced kitchen
• Must be available to work 1st shift with start time of 5:00am
• Must be available to work Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays
• Guest Service Skills and Professional Appearance Required
• Must be able to handle food preparation for high volume breakfast
• Walk, stand, bend, stoop, lift, push and carry 10-50lbs., consistently during an 8 hour shift
• ServSafe Certification Preferred
