Receptionist/Escort (Dam Neck Activity, VA)

ASRC Federal Cyber is hiring Receptionists/Escorts supporting a Navy contract in Dam Neck Activity, VA. The Receptionist/Escort will perform escort functions and provide customer service functions at a main or front desk. Must have a Secret clearance or higher or be able to obtain a Secret clearance. Must be flexible with daytime hours between 8:00AM-4:00PM. Normal hours are Monday-Friday but could include weekends and holidays depending on customer requirements. Position will be on site at Naval Surface Warfare Center-Dam Neck Activity, VA.

Responsible for the following:

• Escorting visitors without clearances within accredited secure spaces; OSS and below
• If the visitor has a NSWCDD sponsor, civilian or Contractor, the Contractor shall notify the point of contact that the visitor is on site.
• Signing visitors into all secure spaces annotating all fields on visitor log.
• Maintain a visual on visitors at all times while within the facility.
• Escort the visitors to the exit at the end of the visit.
• Sign visitors out of secure spaces annotating time of departure.
• Escort construction or other support personnel within construction and work zones and remain with them keeping visual contact as they work within our secured spaces.
• Full-time temporary schedule (July 2025-March 2026).

Requirements:

• Must be able to sit and stand for long periods.
• Must be able to work after hours, weekends and/or holidays.
• Must wear Steel toed boots/PPE equipment.
• Ability to obtain interim DoD Secret clearance or an active DoD Secret security clearance. This position requires the successful applicant to obtain and maintain the required security clearance or other authorization(s) within the necessary timeframe required by applicable contract(s).
• 0-2 years of experience.
• Should demonstrate skills with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Must demonstrate the ability to work independently and be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
