what you will accomplish
A Public Area Attendant is responsible formaintainingthe cleanliness of public areas around the property. Including but not limited to public restrooms, lobby, restaurant, offices, etc. Public Area Attendants must have the ability to lift, pull and push a moderate weight. This is a fast-pacedposition. This highly visible role gives an opportunityfor casual conversation and hotel or local recommendations. Responsibilities include the followingpolicies and procedures to ensure the quality of the guest rooms remainconsistent throughout the property.
Maintain warm, hospitable guest relations in all guest contact.
Responding to individual guest needs as they occur.
Clean and maintainall assigned publicareas daily, including public area bathroom cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, sweepingand mopping, checking of public area lights and equipment, window washing, spot cleaning, and stocking all supplies, or as assigned.
Useproper signage and safety equipment when cleaning public areas to ensure the safetyof our guests.
Distributes mats and caution signs where needed whenever rain conditions are occurring.
Report all items in need of repair to supervisor and maintainequipment used in work.
Protect guest safety and well-being; be courteous to all guests and co-workers.
Thoroughly completes projects and assignments professionally with care.
Adjustto high pressure conditions and is open to change.
Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.
Always Conducts him/herself (acts and dresses) professionally; sets standards for all.
Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively, and professionally.
Scrupulously follows all Ko'aKea Hotel & Resort policies and procedures.
what you will bring
Knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
Ability to lift,pull, and pusha minimum of 40 pounds.
Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
Ability to be a team player.
great if you have
Knowledge of all hotel departments and events.
High school education and relevant training and experience required. Additionaleducation is preferred. Knowledge of localarea required.
CPR and first aid training are preferred.
Additionallanguage ability is preferred.
