Janitor 1st shift

Nesco Resource is searching for janitors for one of our long-term client in the Auburn Hills area. This is a 1st shift position operating Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm and pays $17/hr.

Duties:

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, polishing, or vacuuming.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Follow procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Mix water, detergents, or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
• Service, clean, or supply restrooms.
• Set up, arrange, or remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, or scaffolding to prepare facilities for events, such as banquets or meetings.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Demonstrated ability to read and follow cleaning procedures and check sheets to an acceptable degree.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and self-motivation.
• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not required
• Attention to detail
• Team-work oriented attitude
