Were a busy and friendly bagel shop in the heart of Catskill, NY, serving fresh bagels, sandwiches, coffee, and great vibes. Under new management, were building a positive, team-oriented environment and looking for great people to grow with us.

Position Overview:
Were hiring a reliable and personable Counter Person to join our team. Youll be the face of the shopgreeting customers, taking orders, preparing food and beverages, and helping keep things running smoothly behind the counter.

Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers with a friendly, helpful attitude
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
Prepare bagels, sandwiches, coffee, and other menu items to order
Operate the register and handle cash/credit transactions
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Restock food, coffee, and paper goods throughout the day
Assist with opening and/or closing tasks
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Work as a team to ensure a smooth, efficient, and welcoming environment

Qualifications:
Prior experience in food service or customer service preferred (but not required)
Strong communication and people skills
Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
Dependable, punctual, and a team player
Comfortable working early morning shifts
Willingness to learn, take initiative, and jump in where needed
Fast-paced and organized, with a sense of urgency
